I. Transforming Moral Education Through Great Love
The school’s motto is “Preserve the Chinese Spirit, Become Global Citizens.” Moral education follows a “Great Love Transformation” approach: fostering love for the Communist Party of China, for socialism, for our great motherland, as well as love for one’s school, one’s family, and oneself. Guided by a spirit of profound compassion, the school instills in students the understanding that their personal future and destiny are inextricably linked to the nation’s development.
II. Greening Classroom Teaching
High school instruction employs a “green problem‑solving” classroom model, enabling students to learn with ease, enjoyment, and effectiveness, while building confidence and enhancing both their learning abilities and academic performance.
III. Diversification of Foreign Language Teaching
The high school English program employs a blended approach, combining simplicity and clarity with the New Concept English textbook series, to help students successfully pass their academic examinations. In 2017, the high school introduced a Japanese-language college‑entrance exam preparatory class; currently, there are 14 full‑time Japanese teachers, and more than 300 students in each grade are enrolled in Japanese courses. In 2020, the school further added a Spanish-language college‑entrance exam class, which is now offered regularly to first- and second-year high school students, supported by three full‑time Spanish teachers. Teaching minor foreign languages not only enables students to leapfrog ahead in language proficiency and rapidly boost their college‑entrance exam scores but also cultivates their global perspective and cross‑cultural communication skills.
IV. Enhancing the Appeal of Arts and Physical Activities
The high school offers specialized art programs in “Fine Arts and Calligraphy,” “Music and Dance,” “Broadcasting and Hosting,” and “Media and Flight Attendant Studies,” as well as a sports program focused on “Track and Field and Ball Games,” providing a platform for students’ individualized development. In particular, the soccer program has become a new pathway for talented students to gain admission to university.
