To further strengthen the foundation of classroom instruction, deepen educational and teaching reform, enhance the quality of student development in specialized classes, and promote the mutual exchange and sharing of high-quality resources among schools, on the morning of June 11, the education team from Guiyang Puri School visited the Affiliated Experimental School of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages to conduct an inter-school exchange activity themed “Deepening Classroom Teaching, Jointly Exploring Qian Class Development, and Sharing Pedagogical Experiences.” Teachers from both schools engaged in classroom observations and focused discussions, exchanging educational insights and sharing their experiences in professional growth.

01

Conduct research through teaching and foster reflection through observation.

The classroom is the primary arena for nurturing students. This exchange event uses high-quality open classes as a platform to comprehensively showcase our school’s consistently high‑standard, well‑structured teaching practices.

Five demonstration lessons spanned both the primary and junior high school levels, covering the three core subjects of Chinese, mathematics, and English. Teachers in each discipline closely aligned with the principles of the new curriculum standards, prioritizing the development of students’ core competencies. The lesson designs were solid and efficient, with clear pedagogical logic and lively, well-organized teacher–student interactions. Each high‑quality class exemplified the practical application of teaching philosophies and showcased the wisdom of education.

02

Joint research and co‑construction, pooling strengths to enhance quality.

The symposium featured in-depth discussions on key topics, including the development of high‑efficiency classrooms, the enhancement of subject‑specific instruction, the cultivation of distinctive features for the Qian Xuesen Class, the student‑development system, and innovations in moral education and holistic student nurturing.

Our school provided a detailed overview of its distinctive educational features, daily teaching management practices, classroom reform initiatives, and the curriculum development, faculty training, and distinctive student‑centered education system of the Qian Xuesen Class. Meanwhile, the team from Guiyang Puri School shared valuable insights drawn from their own institutional experience. The two sides engaged in candid exchanges and in-depth discussions, drawing on each other’s best practices to collaboratively address the key challenges in teaching and in building specialized classes.

03

Research without ceasing, action without slackening.

This inter-school exchange event was rich in content and highly targeted, showcasing our school’s solid pedagogical foundation and proven educational outcomes, while also establishing a high-quality platform for collaborative teaching research, resource sharing, complementary strengths, and mutual advancement between the two institutions.
