Psychology Club Team-Building Activity: “Blooming Flowers in the Group Counseling Room”

On the afternoon of January 8, 2026, members of the psychology club gathered in the senior‑year psychological group counseling room and, under the guidance of a psychology teacher, participated in a unique team‑building activity.

“Peach blossoms bloom in profusion!” At the teacher’s command, students quickly formed groups, their laughter and cheerful chatter bringing them closer together. The “Name‑Matching Challenge” put everyone’s memory and quick reflexes to the test, while “Circle‑to‑the‑End” showcased the team’s collaboration and seamless coordination.

In the small group counseling room, a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere prevailed. Through games, students not only eased their minds but also learned how to communicate, collaborate, and support one another within the group, adding a bright touch to their busy academic lives.

Student Union Team-Building Event: A Battle of Teams on the Field

On the afternoon of January 12, 2026, the school basketball court was bustling with activity as the grade-level student council’s team-building event kicked off in full swing.

In “Poker Card Battle,” each team had to skillfully deploy strategy, putting students’ wit and teamwork to the test. In the “Invincible Wind-and-Fire Wheel” segment, participants worked together to build and operate their “wind-and-fire wheels,” racing toward the finish line, as cheers and laughter echoed throughout the venue.

The event concluded with a grand awards ceremony, during which every participating student received their own well-deserved recognition and joy. Under the sun, running figures, collaborative gazes, and triumphant smiles came together to form a vibrant tapestry of youth.

Psychological Short-Video Recording: Extending the Psychology Classroom to Your Fingertips

In addition to in-person activities, the psychology team has adopted innovative approaches to extend mental health education into the online realm. Recently, psychology teachers collaborated with students to plan, rehearse, and film a project about… A psychological科普 short video on “staying away from the herd effect.”

The video, through vivid reenactments, reveals that… The “herd effect” manifests in everyday life, and students are encouraged to think independently and make rational judgments, rather than following others blindly. Through their participation in the filming process, students not only deepened their understanding of psychological concepts but also became ambassadors for mental health awareness.

At present, the video has been posted on the school’s official video platform and has garnered widespread attention and positive feedback from both teachers and students.

Mental health is a vital cornerstone of students’ holistic development. Our school’s psychology department organizes a variety of activities aimed at fostering a positive, supportive, and collaborative campus climate, helping students gain self-awareness, develop teamwork skills, relieve stress, and thrive both mentally and emotionally.

In the future, the Psychology Department will continue to organize a wider range of mental health education activities tailored to students’ needs, safeguarding the emotional and psychological growth of Dongfang students and ensuring that every student feels warmth, support, and strength on campus.
